If you’re overwhelmed from jumping on YouTube and browsing endless lessons, you’re probably struggling to build a consistent practice routine that actually makes you excited to return to the guitar. We live in a time when we have an amazing opportunity to learn almost anything at our fingertips, but the truth is, learning happens primarily at the level of application, not by endlessly consuming more information.
Most of the students I work with have families, jobs, and all of the other never-ending demands of life that are asked of us each week. That’s why I’ve designed my teaching around making the time you put in with the guitar count. Much of the emphasis isn’t simply on what to practice, but how to practice. It’s about how to work with the material, how to make progress, and how to finish a practice session feeling like you’ve accomplished something.
